Offerra: A new way for talent and employers to connect.

Offerra is being designed as a place where employers can discover candidates and invite their interest, and where candidates decide, on their own terms, whether to respond.

Concept preview, illustrative data. A candidate profile with visibility choices, beside an employer interest request the candidate can review. Concept preview with illustrative data. On the left, a candidate profile for a product designer lists skills and a visibility setting set to discoverable. On the right, an interest request from a hiring team describes a design role and offers two choices: express interest or decline.

The problem

Most hiring only works in one direction.

Candidates send applications and wait. Employers sort through applications that often miss what they need. There are few calm, respectful ways for an employer to say “we’re interested” first.

Offerra explores the other direction: employers reach out with a clear reason, and candidates decide whether the conversation is worth having.

Planned capabilities

What we’re designing

These are being designed now and may change before launch.

  1. Visibility you control

Candidates are intended to choose whether their profile can be discovered, and what employers see before they respond.

  2. Interest requests with context

Employers can send a short request that explains the role and why a profile stood out.

  3. Your decision to respond

Each request waits for the candidate. Nothing moves forward until they choose to express interest.

  4. Focused discovery for employers

Employers can search using the skills and preferences candidates have chosen to share.

How it works

How it’s intended to work

Each step shows who acts. Where a decision matters, a person makes it.

  1. Step 1Candidate

    Create a profile

Share your skills, experience, and the kind of work you want. Choose whether you can be discovered.

  2. Step 2Employer

    Discover and reach out

An employer finds a relevant profile and sends an interest request about a specific role.

  3. Step 3Candidate

    Review the request

See who is interested and why, then decide whether to express interest or decline.

  4. Step 4Both

    Continue the conversation

If the candidate expresses interest, both sides can take the next step together.

Use cases

Where it could help

Example situations, not customer results.

  • Open to the right move

A professional who isn’t applying anywhere, but would consider the right role if an employer reached out.

  • Early in a career

A recent graduate who wants employers to see their projects and skills, not only a list of applications.

  • Hard-to-find skills

An employer looking for experience that rarely surfaces through job posts alone.

Good to know

Clear about the limits

  • People stay in control

Candidates are intended to decide whether to respond to every request, and employers decide who to contact.

  • What it will need

Candidates need an up-to-date profile. Employers need a clear description of the role they are hiring for.

  • What it isn’t designed to do

Offerra isn’t designed to promise interviews, offers, or employment. An interest request is an invitation to talk, not a job offer.

FAQ

Questions about Offerra

Is Offerra available yet?

Will employers see my contact details?

The intention is for candidates to control what employers can see. Detailed privacy settings will be confirmed before Offerra launches.

Does Offerra guarantee a job or an interview?

No. Offerra is being designed to create introductions. Hiring decisions stay with employers, and the choice to respond stays with you.

How is Offerra different from Jobra?
